The use of data and support for it: teacher perceptions

The AITSL Teacher Professional Standards guide teachers in their work. One element in particular focuses on teachers using assessment data to inform their practice, but in many cases, the provision of time and professional support to do this effectively is not occurring. This webinar will provide opportunity for conversation consideration of the findings from a master’s research dissertation that investigated several key issues relating to teacher’s use of data in a secondary setting. It will allow participants to reflect on practices in their own school context that may be supporting or be barriers to effective data use, highlighting opportunities for leading and supporting staff in this process.
