Griffith University, Adolescent Success and Adolescent Success invite you to present your current or proposed research at the research symposium round-table session at the 2019 Middle Years Conference in Brisbane.
Both novice and experienced researchers are invited to submit proposals to present their research and engage in dialogue with other middle years researchers from Australia and New Zealand.
The symposium will feature two round-table sessions where researchers will be able to present their current or proposed research as well as opportunities to network.

Program:
Round Table Sessions: 9 - 10:00
Morning Tea: 10-10:40
Roundtable Sessions: 10:45 - 11:45
Facilitated Discussion: 11:50 - 12:30
Focussing on middle years research in Australia. This is an opportunity for topic discussions in smaller interest groups. Topics drawn from cluster topics as well as mega trends topics will be highlighted. This small group discussion aims to have researchers with similar interests connect and discuss possible links/synergies

Guidelines: To be considered for participation in the Middle Level Education Research Roundtable, submit the following items for review:
- Cover Page that includes the following:

- Title of research/paper
- Name, position, organisation/institution affiliation, mailing address, phone number, and email address for all researchers with the lead researcher designated.
- Abstract of the research/paper no longer than 300 words that includes a description of the study and the significance of the study to middle level education research. The abstract should not contain identifying information for any of the researchers involved in the project.
Submit the Cover Page and Abstract as two separate email attachments to:

All submissions will be blind reviewed by executive members of Adolescent Success. If selected to participate in the roundtable session, at least one researcher listed on the proposal must agree to register for and attend the Adolescent conference and present the research at the appointed time. Researchers must prepare a one-page research summary to distribute to those attending the session. A full research paper is not required.
Deadline for proposal submissions: June 10th, 2019. Notification of acceptance: before June 24th, 2019
